Orienteering

Students will learn how to use a compass to find degree bearings and navigate through the forest while collecting messages to solve a secret riddle. Students have a great time while learning about how forces such as magnetism are used by both animals and humans in the process of navigation. Students will discuss how societies have used various ways of navigation over the centuries and what may lie in the future.
